I used quite a bit of latitude in interpreting this topic, I admit. I’m trying to say something about metamorphosis, change being a continual process of decay and renewal, progress rather than perfection.

One of the last active farms near where I live. This pastel painting is from a photo I made one early morning in the Fall on the way to work. Farmers need our support–buy local produce!
