Wow this is a nice site. :0) I like the comments even though I don't 100% agree with all of them. I am a grad student at the University of Sacred Heart in Connecticut. If you don't mind I will use your blog as a example for my semester project that I am doing on the internet and ecommerce. If you reject the thought send me a quick email

I loved reading your story! As Emily suggests - this is your time of another renewal where you are going to step boldly into the next phase during this life. You have been warned about a time ahead where you will advance with great courage and increased power. It’s all good - proceed with a smile on your face - life is exciting :)

It's so interesting to hear about your serpent happenings, I myself have come across quite a few in my adventures and know that feeling when they rattle. Yikes!
In my recent goddess studies a lot has come up about the serpent as a symbol. Mostly it is asscociated with renewal, like when the snake sheds its skin and becomes reborn again. That is why it is commonly asscociated with the goddess since she represents the bringing of life and also death and is the intermediary between. This is also why the serpent is asscociated with the Earth and it's seasonal cycles. I have heard that the rattlesnake in particular represents the kundalini energy force and when it rattles at you it is a blessing of the kundalini through your chakras. Did you feel it? It seems like the earth is telling you that you are going through a state of renewal right now. It is also important to think about what it meant to you as an animal totem, since they are obviously trying to tell you something. Use your intuition to decipher it's message! There is a great book out there called "Animal Speak" which has in depth interpretations on animal totems, I am sure you could find a lot about the snake in there. It's interesting because yesterday I was walking along the creek and there was a garter snake in my path that was staying completely still. I tried to startle it to move, but as I looked closer I realized it's head was missing. Ew! I wonder what that symbolizes.....Anyway, I hope that info helped and for Goddess sakes watch your step!!!!

Two things, large or small, rattlesnakes are very poisonous, a baby can make you as sick as an adult. Second... dude, you have pissssssstt something off!!! HEEHEE! Wow, watch where you are stepping. They are about this time of the year, it is probably more the temperature than anything you have done against Lesser Gods.
I really enjoyed this...sorry, I know you didn't:)

My mom forwarded this to me, and since I know how valuable my advice is to you, I thought I would delve into this "phenomenon" that you claim. Let's look at the problem first... you seem to always run into snakes lately. Now, it is a little known fact that snakes, along with other animals, are attracted to a rare pheromone only accuring in a select few individuals. This pheromone is known as "Wussius Manus."
This pheromone, while not deadly in itself, can lead to death if not treated soon. It starts out by leading to fear of "common phobias" such as snakes, spiders, what have you. However, if untreated, it will lead to the person afflicted being afraid of much less scary animals such as wombats, koalas... heck Ive even seen a case so bad that a grown man was running in terror from a white bunny rabbit. Even your cats could become fearsome to you. But I say this to you... DO NOT GIVE UP!!! There is still hope. To combat this pheromone you must do the following:
1) Rub garlic cloves under the subject's LEFT (I cannot stress this enough, for the consequences could be dire if done improperly) earlobe.
2) Burn an entire sage brush while hopping on one foot.
3) Roll in the EXTINGUISHED (also an important part) ashes of the brush covering oneself from head to toe.
4) Draw a picture of the animal that is popping up (snakes in this case) on the subjects forehead using a permanent felt tipped pen.
5) Finally, cleanse the subject in milk or heavy cream that has been sitting for no less than 6 days.
6) Send pictures to Garrett.
If done properly, all of these weird "coincidences" will cease at once. I only hope this reaches you in time.
Sincerely,
Garrett Norris, PhD
